James Dean was a 50's icon and yet very few people knew the real man behind the actor.

Take a look at his small backhand writing. He was essentially a shy, introverted male who was very attached to his mother who unfortunately passed away when he was still in grade school. The left side of the paper represents the mother while the right side represents the father. He pulled towards the left (mother) and avoided the right (father). His sensitivity, secretiveness and mystery can be understood in the light of his handwriting which reveals his delicate, artistic nature. He will be well remembered for his charisma on camera. He was the type of actor who made the camera follow him. He did not follow the camera. His backhand writing testifies to his natural withdrawal from society and his inner shyness which played beautifully on the screen.
